I have some Fantastic News - Dylan Lewis of Bradley Stoke Youth Under 13 Hornets, played a trial match vs Bristol City Academy at the start of August. Not only did the team of Trialists win 9-1, our very own Dylan scored 7 (seven) goals!!!

Needless to say, Bristol City were so impressed they offered him a contract immediately without having to play any further trial matches.

This does mean the Hornets will lose Dylan as a player but I firmly believe with his undoubted pace and ability, a move now to City Academy is thoroughly deserved.

In his first official match for the Academy, City beat Rovers 4-1 and Dylan scored all 4 goals...Not a bad start !!!!

We will all miss Dylan and his cheeky antics. He is such a nice lad with his infectious personality. And also Karen and the Lewis clan who have been with us since day one.
I'm sure we will see Dylan wearing the famous Red and White shirt at Ashton Gate in years to come and I for one will be very proud to say I helped Coach him.

Remember Dylan, Once a Hornet, Always a Hornet !!!!!
