BSYFC finalists at the Bristol Post Sports Awards 2015

By Martin Lee

BSYFC up for another award in 2015

BSYFC just missed out at the Bristol Post Sports Awards 2015 in the category of Community Club of the Year.
The Gala Evening at the Bristol Marriott Hotel on Thursday Oct 22nd with a host of celebrity guests was a fantastic event and recognition of how far the club have come since its start up in 1998.
This is now the 2nd Sports Award Event the club has attended in 2015 (the other being in July) and both times they have been runners up ... so close both times.
To be selected as finalists in 2 star events in 2015 should not go without praise for the club. We are a true community club with boys teams, girl teams, womens team, disability football, school links program, football festival and enrichment program. We do a great deal for the community and therefore should be proud of our achievements.
Many thanks for all the hard work done by the committee and the coaches/helpers of each age group.
