On Wednesday Oct 10th Bristol Rovers captain Matt Gill and Wayne Brown joined in with the U7's training session. The guys were great fun and the children enjoyed every minute of the one hour they stayed with us. Matt and Wayne both joined in the routines and displayed good touch and passing ability ... lets hope they show that out on the pitch in the next League game.
Matt and Wayne then presented the trainer of the day awards at the end of the session. They answered questions, signed stuff and were a delight to have at the session. We will try and get them back up again in the near future.
They both said the coaches were all top notch and it was great to see so many Bristol Rovers shirts being worn by the children.
